Q. Is Corporate and fleet transport an option? |
| |
A. Yes, we transport cars for hundreds of dealers, new and used, and wholesale buyers in addition to auto auction moves. |
|
 |
Q. How long will it take to receive my vehicle? |
| |
A. The delivery of your vehicle depends on the exact distance from pick-up through delivery, as well as any unforeseen obstacles that may delay the process. Depending on truck availability, loading time varies between the same day to 4 days thereafter. A coast to coast move may take from 10-14 days. Most trips take between 3-7 days. Should delays occur due to traffic, inclement weather, truck breakdowns, and other unforeseen events, you will be notified at once. However, please keep in mind that pick up dates and delivery dates are estimated and are not guaranteed. |

Q. What happens if my vehicle is damaged during shipment? |
| |
A. All carriers have a $500 deductible which is to be paid by the customer and excluding your shipper agreement, the rest of any damage fees are covered by the carrier. Acts of God, rocks and pebbles striking the vehicle while in transit are not covered. We use open carriers that are not enclosed transports so your vehicle is open to the elements. We fill out a detailed condition report so the customer has an exact awareness of what damages, scratches, dents, dings, cracks, paint chips or any blemishes may be on your car when we pick it up. All damages must be noted immediately at the time of pickup and delivery with the driver. The condition report must be signed upon delivery of the vehicle in order to substantiate any damage claims. |

Q. Why does the auto transport price vary from company to company? |
| |
A. The auto transport industry consists of many brokers and trucking companies transporting cars. Most quotes do remain around the same price point. If your quote varies from the norm by being very low or very high, various problems may occur. If the price is very high, the company you are dealing with is not a solid and professional company. You ought to check their insurance record and references. If the transport price is too low, you run the possible risk of delay in the move, or it may not be picked up by a good carrier. You get what you pay for. The most important thing here is to get your car where it needs to go when you want it to happen. Unfortunately there are an abundance of small mom and pop truckers/ owner operators that don’t operate professionally. At US Auto Shippers it is our job to weed out those companies and provide you with the best in the business to move your car. Remember we are your advocate throughout this process making this a smooth move for you. |
|
 |
Q. Must I be present for the delivery of my vehicle? |
| |
A. You should be there, however you can assign someone else to be there to pick up your car. Many times, though, people leave the keys in the glove compartment or under the driver’s side mat. |
