| Most Car haulers use a truck which is called a tractor and a trailer which holds between 7 and 10 cars. The tractors are some of the following brands: International, Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner, Volvo, and Western Star. |

| The Trailers are called hi-rail, low- rail, or quick loader. Some of the brands are Cottrell, Delevan, Orange Blossom, and others. The quick loaders are easy to load as you just drive the car right onto the trailer. There are no hydraulics to work, however to unload one must take off cars and reshuffle them to get them back on the truck. |

| With the Hi-rail and low rail systems hydraulics work the ramps moving them up and down so a driver can shift the cars around to load and unload without having to take cars off the transporter to get a particular car off the trailer. This is a more sophisticated trailer that is much more expensive and requires more training to work. Most of our drivers operate these trailers and are very experienced and well trained. |
